Principal's Message

Dear Rancho Parents, Students, and Community,

Rancho Milpitas Middle School is a community that continuously strives to educate and nurture global minded, creative, and resilient thinkers who value multiple perspectives. Our students demonstrate versatility as they develop interpersonal skills, build self-esteem, think critically, and work collaboratively. Rancho partners with families and community members to support our students and to provide a future filled with options and opportunities. This is our vision and it is brings together the multiple aspects that make up the whole child. All of us, students, teachers, parents, community members, play a critical role in bringing this ideal to fruition for each of our students through our diligent and daily efforts to do and be our best.

At Rancho we offer a variety of opportunities for students to learn and mature as they become more independent and empowered in their learning and prepare for high school and beyond. Teaching and learning are dynamic activities at Rancho and we provide experiences that are relevant and engaging for our students. Project Based Learning and Service Learning, among others, are some of the offerings available for our students.

I personally invite each of you to join us in taking an active role in your child’s education this year at Rancho. Come out to Back-to-School Night to meet your child’s team of teachers. Attend the Student Led Conferences where your child will showcase his/her learning. Be a part of our School Site Council, ELAC, and join our PTSA. Attend an athletic event or other extracurricular activity. Your involvement and participation will have a positive impact in your child’s experience educational experience.

I look forward to seeing and getting to know you in 2018-19. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns regarding how to best support your child.

I look forward to another wonderful year at Rancho!
